Mini Ninjas: Futo Video Available
6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story

Feral Interactive has release a new video showcasing one of the ninjas from the upcoming Mini Ninjas game. The trailer features Futo, and is the fifth of several videos to reveal characters from the game. The trailers will be released every Wednesday and Saturday before the game's release.

Developed by Io Interactive, Mini Ninjas follows the young ninja, Hiro and his friends as they travel through spellbound lands to do battle with a magical army of animals-turned-samurai.

Greetings, followers of the Ninja way! From your training here at Feral’s private mountain you’ll know that Mini Ninjas follows Hiro’s quest to defeat the Evil Samurai Warlord, but he’s not going to get very far without help from his friends! The problem is, his friends have been missing for quite some time now.

But who are these half-pint heroes? Just as the Ninja Master sent them out one by one to investigate the strange occurrences throughout the land, we’re going to be introducing the Ninjas one-by-one, each with their own trailer – you’ll find a new video every Wednesday and Saturday until we release the game.
Mini Ninjas is scheduled for release on June 11. Check out the video and learn more about the game at the links below.

iGame Radio Episode 102 Features Dragon Age Review
6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story

Episode 102 of Omaha Sternberg's iGame Radio podcast is now available for listening. The podcast features a review of Dragon Age: Origins from Bioware and TransGaming as well as commentary on the Humble Indie Bundle and Blizzard's DRM.

Episode 102:

What’s inside this episode:
  • A review of Dragon Age: Origins for the Mac by Bioware. Published by Transgaming using Cider technology. A single-player RPG whose plot and content rival fantasy sagas, with first rate combat, immersive sound and stellar graphics, and more choice than you can shake a stick at. And you can have sex!
Show Notes:
  • Omaha Sternberg and Peter Cohen of The Loop talk about the SCOTUS hearing ESA vs Schwarzenegger. Along with flying acronyms, they discuss why SCOTUS will likely rule in ESA’s favor.
  • 73 Congressional Democrats sign on to a letter pleading for the FCC Chairman to halt his efforts towards Net Neutrality. An attempt to save investment and jobs? Well, lobbyist jobs at least.
  • How will the Humble Indie Bundle event affect marketing for games, especially Indie games? Well, nothing, if Peter and Omaha can’t figure out how to pronounce “Humble Indie Bundle” properly…
  • Is the Blizzard DRM way the way to go? You decide. Vote with your wallet.
  • And Omaha whines about her antiquated 2006 Mac Pro not being able to run a game originally published in 2004.
