Machinarium Updated

Amanita Design has released an update for its adventure title, Machinarium. Patch 2 includes several bug fixes for the game, as well as an easier difficulty for the 5-in-a-row game on the Bar level. The point and click adventure game follows the adventures of a robot who must find a way to save his girlfriend and his city from a group of villains known as the Black Cap Brotherhood.

Fixes in the update:

  • level Waste Dump: fixed logo over game and possibly frozen game while interaction with the rat.
  • level Furnace Room: interaction with right-side controller is now possible only when really standing near by.
  • level Alley: fixed possible loss of barrel while stopping game during animation of pulling the barrel from the bar.
  • level Sewer Room: fixed one incorrect state of water pipes.
  • level Bar: it’s easier now to beat the “bar bot” in 5-in-a-row game after several losses.

Brukkon Puzzle Game Early Access Sale

93-interactive has announced an "early access sale" for its new puzzle title, Brukkon. In the game players take the role of a little robot in search of spare parts. To succeed they must move platforms and steer the robot through the game's more than 30 levels.

Brukkon is a puzzle game where you have to guide a little robot to its spare parts by moving platforms and steering the robot. The final game will have 30+ levels and online high scores. It is available for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. A iPhone version will follow.
The early access sale, which will end on December 14th 2009, gives access to 15 levels and constant updates until the game's final release. The game costs $10 for those who purchase during the early access stage, and $14 for those who buy after the sale.
