The puzzle based game puts players in the role of Brian Spencer, a computer programmer who must use his hacker skills to both prove he is innocent of murder, and defeat a computer conspiracy to take over the world. When the number of computers in existence and their processing capacity exceeds that of all mankind, a point of technological singularity is encountered. A massive economic and systematic crisis hits the entire world. Nobody knows the exact cause, and all solutions to fix it, are failing. We are about to lose our position as a dominant specie on the planet, in favor of something we have created... computers. You play the role of Brian Spencer, a young computer programmer working for a company he started with a couple of friends, which has developed the technology from where it all started. When you are being framed for crime, it's up to you to prevent computers from becoming the next dominant species, and clear your name, using your hacker skills. The concept behind Hacker Evolution: Untold is to create a game that challenges the gamers intelligence, attention and focus, creating a captivating mind game. Blizzard Entertainment's Kevin Yu (Karune) recently revealed that the Vespene Laughs! comic contest will feature StarCraft II beta keys as prizes. Participants in the monthly humor contest compete for the title of funniest and wittiest StarCraft fan. This contest is one of several upcoming competitions which will give StarCraft devotees the chance to win beta keys for the anticipated game. StarCraft II Beta Keys are up for grabs to the funniest, wittiest, able to cause a fun chuckle in your fellow StarCraft fans! As a FYI, we will be adding (2) StarCraft II Beta Keys to the Vespene Laughs 1st place winner's prize package each month for the StarCraft II Comic Contest. The rules will be updated accordingly for the February round of entries. Additionally, we will also reward previous 1st place winners of the contest as well with the beta keys as well. Blizzard Entertainment has released a new update for StarCraft and its expansion Broodwar. In addition to bug fixes Version 1.16.1 introduces an Enable CPU Throttling option for limiting CPU cycles, as well as a fix for the recently added "/reply" command. Changes in 1.16.1: Feature Changes: - In-game Speed Options menu now has a “Enable CPU Throttling” checkbox. Enabling this option will allow StarCraft to consume fewer CPU cycles. By default this option is off. Bug Fixes: - Fixed an issue with the reply feature where any character followed by a “r “was being treated as a reply. - Removed an unnecessary delay when processing palette cycling updates. - Lessened the imposed delay in the CPU Throttling feature.
