Apple Games Features Toontown Online
8:46 AM | Cord Kruse | 5 comments

Apple Games' latest feature turns the spotlight on Disney's Toontown Online. The family oriented massively multiplayer online game puts players in the role of a Toon who must use gags and tricks to chase off the Cogs, a group of business minded robots intent on turning Toontown into a corporate metropolis. In addition to a review of the game, the article offers a run down of the types of gags Toons can learn.

Welcome to the massively multi-player online role-playing game Toontown, where your silliest dreams come true in a Disney setting. Create up to six personalized Toons, each with its own Toon house where it can store extra clothes, order special stuff from Clarabelle’s Cattlelog, and bank the jellybeans that are Toontown’s currency.

Explore six themed neighborhoods — Toontown Central, Donald’s Dock, Daisy Gardens, Minnie’s Melodyland, Pluto’s The Brrrgh, and Donald’s Dreamland — where hundreds of quests, known as Toon Tasks, await you with their rewards. Battle Cogs with 40+ cartoon gags at your disposal. Take a break by racing your customized kart on one of six different tracks, playing with your pet Doodle, and fishing in one of the ponds. Say “hi” to Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and the rest of your favorite Disney characters.
