Tactical Operations: Crossfire, the modification for Unreal Tournament 2004, has been updated to beta 1.6.
The update adds many new features and fixes, as well as a new map. Here's a breakdown:

A brand new map, OBJ-Infernum from somb]I[ - Fast action, wide streets, no clutter and locations for every weapon to have it's use. Infernum shows once again that somb]I[ knows his gameplay and has a great visual style that is distinctive. Grab your guns and hit the pavement!

Improved weapon balance - Shotguns have had an overhaul to ensure that up close they deliver the same punch but at greater distances they are as effective as the price and weapon class deserves.

Map fixes, performance, bugs and visuals in a few of our maps got a tickle. No more hiding in the walls on Richelieu.

New firemode for AK47/M4a1: Tracer fire - Lay down tracer fire tactically to direct fire for team mates, crap in your pants when they fly past your head.

Blood! Yes, there is more blood. Directional hit effects mean that bullets leave an exit wound which helps team mates see where you were shot from.

Improved effects - More different muzzleflashes for weapons to better see who is shooting at you from distance.

Exploits blocked - We've blocked a few avenues with 1.6

There are two new Mac games available at Macgamestore.com including Minigolf Mania and Zak & Jack in Showdown at Monstertown.

Minigolf Mania takes you and up to three friends from the traditional Golden Hills to the fiery pools of Lava Islands. Expect the unexpected as special course items threaten to throw your ball off mark. Booster Beams blast you in different directions; Super Jumps launch you in the air; Super Grow makes your ball gigantic; and more creative power ups help or hinder your path to the cup. Four game types and 42 different balls with unique abilities add to the fun. Nothing in Minigolf is free though, you will need to complete challenges throughout the courses to unlock them. Track your scores in the Online Top Scores Tables to compete with opponents worldwide!

Zak and Jack are a pair of hard-working Hobsters who live in a small village called Monstertown. Famous for their clever inventions, Hobsters enjoy an earthly paradise of lush woods, paved streets and cozy houses. When word of their settlement spreads, the evil beasts of the monster world band together in an envious campaign against the goodhearted Hobsters. Luckily, Zak and Jack learn about the plot and prepare for the assault.

Second Life is more than a game. It is a large virtual adult community with many ways to communicate, interact, entertain, be entertained, earn real income, find romance, and play games, lot of games. There are a multitude of sports and games that are in the process of being developed- casino games, First/Third Person Shooters, Role Playing, sky diving, dog fighting, combat, bowling, etc. If you can think of it, probably it can come to life in Second Life. Games and sports are mostly casual in nature, but they being improved by an energetic community of game masters striving to create the same kind of experience offered from dedicated stand alone games.

The latest feature from Apple Games covers Freeverse Software's Big Bang Brain Games. The collection of brain teasing puzzle games includes Sudoku, NovaSweeper, and Remembrance.

Big Bang Reaction is just one of the six brain-teasing puzzlers you’ll find in Big Bang Brain Games. Sol also hosts Sudoku, while Wisdom takes you through Fallacy and Echo and Luna shows you the ropes in NovaSweeper and Remembrance. All three hosts feature unique personalities.

When you finish a round in any of the games, you can publish your score on the Internet with a .Mac account. The “Brag via .Mac!” feature automatically posts your score on your home page. You can also click the “Scores” option in the menu to see your history rendered as a chart, complete with a bar representing your best score and dots that mark different sessions and their scores.

In addition, each Big Bang Brain Game features a variety of the silly Easter eggs that Freeverse is known for hiding in its games. We recommend clicking the icons in the corners of each screen, as well as seeing what happens when you pause the action. Can you make a donut hurtle through the background? Mmmmmmm, donuts …
