WoW European Server Q&A
7:35 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story

Eurogamer has posted an interview with Blizzard representatives concerning recent server difficulties for European players of World of Warcraft. Long waits and an inability to connect to the game have frustrated many European players. To deal with the problem Blizzard is upgrading and improving hardware as well as working with European network providers to deal with the increased online traffic.

The interview makes brief mention of other topics as well, including the upcoming Burning Crusade expansion pack.

Eurogamer: Let's talk about the new Burning Crusade expansion - how's it shaping up? What has the response from testers been like?

Shane Dabiri: It's shaping up really good; we're really happy with the progress so far. We're going to be making some announcements at E3, some exciting stuff - nothing I can tell you quite yet, but some things that I think the players will be happy with.
Our internal testing group are the only people testing it right now, and they're giving us some very good responses. There will be a beta test, but we haven't made any plans so far.
