Ashalii Released
8:06 AM | Cord Kruse | 5 comments

Curry K Software recently announced the release of Ashalii, a new arcade puzzle game. Players connect pieces of the same color and shape in an attempt to clear them from the board and escape an alien craft. As the difficulty increases more pieces must be matched before they will vanish.

Some games focus on putting shapes together. Others are based on matching up colored pieces. Ashalii combines both in a unique fashion, and the result is a more complete, rewarding, and challenging experience.

Engaging outer space backgrounds and beautiful fractal game pieces will keep your eyes occupied while you are occupied fitting together the right pieces. Falling blocker pieces and rising rows will attempt to thwart your progress, but you'll acquire powerful bonuses to help you overcome and pass on to exciting new levels.

Ashalii requires OS X. A demo is available for download and the full version costs $14.95. Follow the link below for more information.

WoW: First Look At New Reindeer Mounts
8:06 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story

New blog site WoW Insider has posted a handful of screenshots of a new reindeer mount available in Blizzard's World of Warcraft this holiday season. The reindeer are just one of the novelty features players can expect to find during the holidays.

We're not sure what this fella's name is -- Prancer or Dancer or Comet and Blitzen -- but we'll just call him Cool Beans!

Thanks to Blizzard for these exclusive screenshots of a reindeer mount players can get in the game. How great is that!

We have no idea what players will have to do to obtain this "pimp ride", but we're sure everybody will want one.

The reindeer mount will likely vanish after the holiday festivities have concluded. To view the screenshots check out the link below.

Stubbs Reviewed
8:06 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story

Stubbs The Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse is finally here and Gamersinfo is the latest to offer a review. Wideload Games and Aspyr Media's zombie themed action title drops players in the undead shoes of Stubbs as he attempts to wipe out the citizens of Punchbowl. Gamersinfo found the game to be a well crafted zombie romp which should keep gamers coming back for more.

Built with Bungie's acclaimed Halo engine, Stubbs the Zombie features some very nicely rendered locations within they city of Punchbowl. As the game progresses you get to sample a varied set of locale's, from the city itself, the outlying country, and many different indoor areas. The game utilizes the engine's physics, allowing for impressive explosions, easy to use vehicles, and fragmenting bodies. The AI is effective also, which is good since the horde of zombies you'll be amassing is important. They'll proceed on their own, recruiting new members to your personal army leaving you to progress with more important matters.
