Tiger Woods 2005 Reaches Beta
9:27 AM | Tuncer Deniz | Comment on this story

Aspyr Media has announced that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005, the best-selling golf simulation, has reached the beta stage of development and is on schedule to ship in July. The game is being ported by Aspyr's internal development team.

Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2005 challenges you to take on the man who has changed golf forever - Tiger Woods. After making a name for yourself on the Tour, tee off against legends including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Ben Hogan to see how you stack up against the all-time greats.

The revolutionary new Tiger Proofing course alteration technology allows you to modify course dynamics and call out your PGA TOURŪ rivals by adding lengthier Tiger Tees, tighter fairways, dramatic undulations to greens, deeper bunkers, higher rough, and more. An enhanced Game Face featuring non-proportional bone scaling and texture blending creates incredibly realistic looks, right down to the bags under your eyes.

MacGameStore.com is currently taking pre-orders for the game for $39.95. Be on the look out for a hands-on IMG preview soon.
