Summoning A New Desktop.
11:30 AM EST | Brad Custer
It's been another eventful week for me.
I finally have broadband in my home after 2 failed attempts of getting DSL.
I'm now the proud owner of a Comcast cable modem.
Woohoo!
I'll be able to transfer the large art files I get via email now in minutes instead of hours.
You can also look for me more often in some online games acting as everyone's favorite target, but I might just be a little harder to hit now. ;D
This isn't my 1st time having a cable modem so it's great to have one again.
Since MWSF in January, I've been anticipating this game.
Anxious may even be a better term to use.
Summoner's 3rd Person Fantasy adventure with its astonishing graphics, completely 3D environments and a rich RPG storyline really impressed me and I've kept my eye on it since then.
So, with it's release coming up, I wanted to do a desktop in honor of it.
This week's selection was one that I've wanted to do for awhile now, but I didn't have the art I wanted to create it.
I thought I was set after E3 when I got my hands on a THQ press cd, but I came across another stumbling block when the one I received seemed to only have corrupt files on it.
Luckily, Todd from Volition came through with some great art that allowed me to make this desktop.
Again I wanted to create one that would fit in with the desktops provided at Summoner.com almost seamlessly, which I feel I was able to do.
This week's creation is titled, "Spell Casters".
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.
A few weeks ago I unveiled the teaser trailer for my new web site.
You can visit my personal site and see the teaser at Custer's Corner.
Just a friendly warning that it does use the Quicktime Plug-in and you might want to be sure to have a Broadband connection because the .MOV file is 1.8 megs.
This will be the last week for the trailer to be up.
The title graphic is finished and now I just have to do the html for it. :)
Until then...
