This week at MWSF Apple introduced iPod mini, the smallest portable music player ever to hold up to 1,000 CD-quality songs. iPod mini is encased in an ultra-portable, lightweight anodized aluminum body available in five stylish colors - silver, gold, pink, blue or green - and features a patent pending, touch-sensitive Click Wheel for easy, one-handed navigation. It features the same award-winning user interface as its "big brother" iPods and works effortlessly with Apple's iTunes Music Store, the world's number one digital music service, and the iTunes digital music jukebox software for seamlessly buying, managing and listening to digital music collections.

Good things do come in small packages. ;)

It's been a few weeks, but I hope everyone had a nice holiday. This week I return just in time for the annual Macworld Expo in San Francisco. I didn't fly across our great nation to attend this year, but like many of you I watched the keynote address by Steve Jobs via the live webcast. As in years, past I created a desktop based around the most exciting news of the keynote. Without a doubt it had to be the introduction of the iPod mini, which will begin shipping next month. In this week's feature I wanted to use the obvious choice for the celebrity endorsement of the new player. So, with the help of Apple's media site, I was able to create this desktop. I simply entitled it, "Mini Me", and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. :)

Also, since it's a new year I'd like to announce a new screen size to be offered here regularly. You can now get the desktops you've grown to love in 1680x1050!

Everyone be sure to keep those requests coming in.

Until then...
