The Man With No Name. 12:00 AM EST | Brad Custer
A man wakes up on a beach with no memory of who he is. In search of his past, his only clues are a tattooed "XIII" on his collarbone and the key to a safety-deposit box in a New York City bank. The safety-deposit box contains a passport, which reveals his identity, but moments after making this discovery, XIII is arrested and accused of the murder of William Sheridan, the 43rd president of the United States. In evidence, he's shown the enlargement of a snapshot in which he appears holding a sniper's rifle, aimed at the presidential cortge. Despite the photo he knows he's no murderer. Wanted by the cops in New York State and hunted down by a mysterious group of assassins, the amnesiac XIII seems doomed to an early death or a long life in prison. But XIII hasn't counted on the unexpected assistance of one Major Jones, who helps him flee through the city of New York. During their escape, she tells XIII that he's a secret agent working for General Carrington, a maverick officer who had been conducting a secret inquiry into the presidential assassination. Carrington has been arrested and imprisoned in an isolated military base in the Appalachian Mountains. XIII sets off to find the General to free him and learn about his own past. And so the story begins in the upcoming release from Feral Interactive... It's obvious with the pending release of XIII from Feral Intactive looming on the horizon that it's a hot topic. Just look at the email in my box if you don't believe me. Personally, I've been resisting the urge to buy it for my Playstation 2, but each week it gets a little harder to do. However, filling the request for another desktop for this title has helped. Somewhat. ;) In this week's offering I wanted create a scene like you might see in an actual comic book. So, with the help of Feral Interactive, I was able to create this wallpaper. I simply entitled it, "Last Moments", because you don't have long to live with a gun that's just been fired staring you in the face. ;) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. :) Everyone be sure to keep those requests coming in.
