The Duke.

Ever since Macsoft's announcement at MWNY that Duke Nukem Forever would be ported to the Mac there's been a lot of buzz. The E3 trailer for the game had some great footage in it including Duke up to his usually antics. I am really looking forward to this release and it seems I'm not the only one.

It didn't take long to get my first request via the new IMG forums. Some of you might recgonize the name ChainsawMcGraw from our boards. I learned at an early age never to disappoint a man named after a gas-powered cutting utensil, so I was eager to fulfill his request. ;D Plus, you can't argue with such logic as this, "I wanna see a DNF background, cause that game is gonna be Ÿberl33t", now can you? So, I dug out my collector's edition GodGame's E3 2001 Press Kit and went to work. I couldn't help but name this desktop, "Come Get Some" after the great taunt in Duke Nukem 3D. I hope you'll enjoy this one as much as I did making it.

"Custer's Corner" ended up on hold this past week due to an overbooked schedule. Dagnabbit! I hope everyone out there doesn't feel I'm stringing you along, but this personal web site will be great once completed. I am hoping this week to finish the basic layout and possibly put up the What's new section, but it's Monday and I'm already off my schedule due to behind-the-scenes maintenance on Custer's Desktops. I'll remain positive and really push myself. So, keep checking that site because it does update. Eventually. ;D

Finally, stop by the new IMG Forums and be sure to voice your opinion about what desktops you'd like to see next. :) It seems a few "retro" desktops are definitely in order.

Until then...
