Good For Your Soul.
11:15 AM EST | Brad Custer
Sacrifice fearlessly combines elements of genres as diverse as role-playing, strategy, and action, with a fast-paced system of resource management and spell-casting.
By attempting to appease one of five strange, omnipotent gods, players take the role of a wizard, and must collect and sacrifice enemies' souls on nightmarish altars in order to gain more power and access to ever more powerful spells.
The single-player game offers a campaign in which each of the 46 levels demands you appease or infuriate a particular god in order to gain increasing power.
Sunday mornings will never be the same again. ;D
With the recent announcement by MacPlay that Sacrifice was due to ship December 7th, I felt the desire to use some of the great art that MacPlay sent me to create a desktop for the game.
"Choices" features a player character praying to three of the five gods in the game, which one he's actually worshipping you'll have to figure out. ;D
I hope you'll enjoy this one as much as I did making it.
My work blah continues, but I've been able to cut down on the every night routine so I swear next week the layout for Custer's Corner will be up.
Until then...
