I Survived E3.
1:05 PM EST | Brad Custer
I'm back and it's good to be home.
I think the marketing department for E3 missed a real chance to sell t-shirts when they didn't create one that read, "I survived E3 2001." ;D
I won't cover all the bleak moments, but I did have blisters, sore legs and I was basically cut off from the rest of the world with a lack of internet access.
Who knew L.A. wasn't jacked in?
I did have fun and accomplished a lot even with all the things that went wrong.
I met and talked with a lot of representatives from most of the major game companies and it was nice when someone recognized me.
A real "ego booster" if you will. ;D
I saw so much I could file a 10 page report and still not cover it all.
One of the highlights though was when I attended a meeting with Bioware and they previewed Neverwinter Nights to us.
I was really impressed with the game being a long time RPG fan.
This game moved up to the near the top of my list for "must have" so I figured it was the perfect choice to create a desktop for this.
I took the press kit supplied to us and had some fun creating this week's desktop I entitled, "Aribeth".
I hope you'll enjoy this one as much as I did making it.
Also, last week I mentioned that I would be opening a personal site and that I should have a teaser up for you to check out.
Well, it's almost ready for your viewing pleasure, but I didn't get it completed with all the last minute details I had to take care of before my trip.
It'll definitely be ready by next Monday. :)
Until then...
