Free Mac (and occasionally Windows) games

Erh yeah, Humble of course. Hadn't slept much yesterday night after a 6 hour Heroes of Newerth Marathon until 1.30am and my daughter woke at 6.30am.

Shadow Warrior 2 free on GOG. It is Windows only, but the developer says a Mac version is coming, so I assume it will become Mac-patible at some point!

I remember them announcing Mac support two years ago.

Are they actually still working on a port?

How the frack do I install anything without GOG Galaxy? It keeps failing on me and it doesn't appear that I can install via the website anymore! I'm glad I didn't invest in many games from them!

EDIT: Okay, figured it out. Go to your Account and for each game you can choose to download the offline installer.

Angry angry!

Yeah I actually stopped using GOG for this reason and a few other ones. You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain

Yeah it's complete ass isn't it? Even Blizzard's Battle.net app screws up patches for me (requiring various voodoo cache deletions and incantations to get it working properly). Installation is hard it seems!

Humble Bundle has Lego The Hobbit free "while supplies last".

(That title sounds like something Gandalf would yell to tell the trolls to drop Bilbo.)

I only see it as 75% off here? Might already be gone...

Humble is now giving away free copies of Lego Lord of the Rings.

UPDATE: Sorry-- saw it appear in my Steam library but didn't notice that there wasn't an install button for Mac. It's Windows only.

Now with link. Windows only, with a Steam key.

We need a mod to change the thread title to one of the following:

"Free Mac (And some Windows) games"

"Free Mac & Windows games"

"Free Mac (And, eew! ...Windows) games"

"Free games for everyone!!!! (Includes mandatory Oprah meme)"

"Save money, free games!"

"Won't someone think of the children??"

"tBC is a fart machine"
