Alright guys, a few changes (for the better!) are to be implemented.
From now on, this will be the only Live thread. Post all relevant Live discussion here regarding playing times, games, etc. This is to cut down on spam and to allow easy access to all pertinent information regarding the weekly Live games.
First things first, the gamertag database. This is not the complete list, so if your name isn't here, which many are not, PM me and I will update it ASAP. First name is forum name, second is gamertag. The name in quotations is what these people prefer to be acknowledged as via voicechat.

- Next, the Xbox Live Scoreboard. Again, if your name is not on the board and you wish to receive points for attending games which allow you to win a free game, PM me and I'll add you.
Xbox Live Scoreboard
The rules for the scoreboard are:
If you attend a daily Live game for a minimum of 45 minutes you will receive 1 point. If you receive a point by attending a live game, you must cast your vote for the MVP by PMing me with your vote. The MVP is whomever you feel to be exactly that - most valuable player. The criteria on how you choose is yours alone, and no one but me sees who you voted for. Whoever gets the most votes for MVP will receive an extra point for that week. If two players or more tie for votes, all tied players will receive the MVP. If you cannot make the Live game but can host a dedicated server, I will award you automatically 2 live points. This is if and only if you cannot play that day. We currently have one official live game a week on every Friday. An Xbox Live season lasts 3 months.
I am in the process of tweaking how the MVP system works, but for now we will use the above method.
The next scheduled Xbox Live game is this Friday, March 26th. The games we will be playing in chronological order are:
1) Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
2) Project Gotham Racing 2
3) Rainbow Six 3
If enough people want to play a different game after we play those, we will. If you don't have all the games on the list but only one, that is also fine. As long as you play for 45 minutes you will receive the live point, and if we know you only have one game we will make accommodations to play that one game the longest.
I will be hosting the Splinter Cell server, and will boot it up tentatively at 4:00 pm Central time. All times are subject to last minute changes so look to the thread for any new developments.

Looks like I'll get my 'box back this week, though odds are it will not be in time for the game. Even if I did I won't have Pandora Tomorrow, it doesn't hit Europe until Friday and since game prices suck in Sweden I'll have to place an order with Amazon (or go for broke). Also as mentioned in another thread my Live account has expired and I'll be switching tags shortly, my new one will be "Mayhem SWE" or something similar pending availability.

Just to make a few corrections on Zack's post. The next Live game is on the 26th not the 23rd and Splinter Cell Pandora tomorrow isn't supposed to be in stores until the 27th. Also, we go by central standard time.
I'll be on around 5:30.

Don't think i'll be joining you guys. I have to be up early for rehersals on saturday, and don't have the money fo SC 2 anyways. have fun, though.

Amazon is showing the SC: PT release as the 25th. Maybe we will get lucky. It will still be hard to get for Friday though :( Ah well, I guess kicking your butts in PGR2 will have to suffice for now ;-)
I will only be able to play for an hour or so on Friday, I have a graduate show to attend that evening. I will try to get on as soon as possible but I have guests showing up at my house around 6-6:30 EST so I will have to get off then (damn outside world).

I just placed my order for Ninja Gaiden and Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. Looks like I won't be getting them until the middle of next week. Apparently the multiplayer PT has an insanely steep learning curve so it will be necessary to get some practice in before we meet anyway. EGM gave it 10, 9.5, 9.5. It is going to f*&!#&%g rock boys :)

Just picked up Pandora Tomorrow and I am going to give it a whirl. I will post back in a bit to let you guys know what I think.
Although, there is no way I am trying the multi without you guys first. I would rather be mocked by you than some anonymous 16 year old. :razz:

I went to Electronics Boutique today and they had it there. In fact, they had many copies.=P All release dates I saw here in the US said shipping the 23rd, which means it arrives the next day in stores.

Also, I edited my first post with the corrections.
We'll have to see how many people have PT by Friday to determine if we will have enough people to play it. Otherwise, it's PGR2 and RS3.

As you all know, my attendance to these games is crappy to say the least. This is in large part to the fact that, apart from Saturday night, Friday night is the absolute worst night of the week for me to be on XBL because I'm either going to be on a train somewhere between London and Southampton or out with my gf (Friday is one of the few nights of the week we see each other at the mo).
For this reason, could people maybe state what nights they find the most convenient to play and what games they prefer playing? That way, maybe I can meet up with some of you guys online some time?
For me, I'm available every Monday - Thursday and most Sundays. Please take into consideration that I'm in the GMT time zone. My particular XBL faves are Ghost Recon, Links 2004, PGR2 and MotoGP 2. Just recently bought Tenchu too, but haven't played it yet (been too busy finishing DX:IW!!!)

Unfortunately, Friday seems to be the ideal time for most of the Livers. Zack, Ace, and I go to school during the week, and the weekends are usually spent going out with friends and the usual teenage stuff...
That's not to say that we aren't on at other times. The summer will most likely give us more free time, so Live day might just be every day...

Like Galen mentioned, me and him both attend school, so there is no possibility of playing before 3pm Central time until summer, roughly for me May 16th.
However, I think I can make a compromise.
We will continue to do Fridays. We could also do Thursdays for EU'ers and people who can't come on Friday. The only restriction on Thursday is the earliest I can host is 3pm Central time. That is the soonest I get out of school.
So, for you guys that can't get on Fridays. How does Thursday sound?

How the hell do you miss a bug like that?!?! This is the second time a similiar thing has occured for Ubisoft too; the PC version of Rainbow Six 3 would freeze on the servers screen if it returned a high enough number of servers (can't remember the exact number).
Anyway, not a big deal as of yet since I haven't tried multi, but I still hope they get that patched soon.
The single player has been a blast so far. Now if I could only stop tripping those damn alarms I would be set! =P

I LIVE IN CANADA.
It always takes an extra day to get up here from the distribution centres. I was under the impression that the North American release was the 25th which means it wouldn't be in stores until the very earliest today. I was looking at Amazon.ca not Amazon.com. I have cancelled my order anyway in hopes that I can pick it up faster at the local game stores. I will be out hunting it down later this afternoon.

Ok you American bastards. I just got off the phone with EB and they have a whole crap load of PT's available (got them yesterday). I will be stopping by later this afternoon and will be online for the majority of the night so any of you chumps that have it I expect to see you on :-D
(man my grammar sucks, ah a proud product of the Canadian educational system)
