Blizzard Entertainment invites everybody interested to participate in a map creation contest for their real-time strategy game Warcraft III. The most original and well-balanced entries may be included in the upcoming expansion The Frozen Throne.

Any map designer, from novice to expert, can now break out their creative skills and design a map that could be included on the final pressing of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Qualified participants that possess a valid Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos CD-Key may enter Blizzard's map design contest, giving them the potential to have their map enjoyed by players around the world.

The Blizzard development teams will be evaluating maps that contestants submit, and will be including those that they find to be the most fun, unique and balanced.

One or more contestants will be awarded the grand prize that includes: one signed copy of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, their name added to the Blizzard's Friends List, inclusion in the Hall of Heroes, and most prominently, the in-game Credits will list the names of the winners to recognize them for all their hard work and dedication.
