Electronic Arts has confirmed that SimCity will be available in stores on March 5, 2013 for Mac and Windows PCs. The latest incarnation of the popular city building simulation game will offer "a fun, dynamic experience, underpinned by GlassBox, the most complex simulation engine in its class."
For more than two decades, the king of city-building simulators has sworn in millions of virtual mayors from around the world. With its return on March 5 2013, SimCity will engage an entirely new generation of PC and Mac gamers as they take charge of their own customized cities. This is a new SimCity that offers a deeper, richer game than ever before. It has been built from the ground up to be an online connected experience, with the new GlassBox engine driving the most authentic simulation ever seen. It has a model-like look and feel that makes players want to reach in, poke, prod, and tinker around. Maxis has put the simulation right in front of the player so that they can see the consequences of their actions and really dig in to see how the systems work. Finally, for the first time in SimCity franchise history, SimCity introduces multicity play, which brings a new dimension as players’ decisions not only affect their city, but have a ripple effect across the entire SimCity World.Learn more at the links below.
