Shadowbane Expansion Lauches, Includes Full Game 7:45 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Ubisoft has announced the official release of Shadowbane: Throne of Oblivion. The latest expansion pack for the PvP-based MMORPG, Throne of Oblivion adds an undead twist to the game, allowing players to create Vampire characters with corresponding powers, in addition to other new related classes. New classes, including the Nightstalker, Necromancer, and disciplines including Vampire bloodlines and four new siege disciplines will also debut in Shadowbane: Throne of Oblivion. Existing classes and disciplines will be updated to account for the arrival of the undead legions, and new weapons will add new dimensions to the existing power dynamic, forcing players to make new strategic decisions. The expansion also features a variety of enhancements, with graphic enhancements and new gameplay features being added with the update. Some of the new features are as follows:- Added a new Character Selection Interface (the list is back, baby!)
- Added a 7th Character Slot
- Optimized server reboot times
- Updated the SBConfig tool with additional settings
- Pets will now only move if it's master steps outside a small radius from the pet
- Stat Buffs and Debuffs now only affect players
- Unarmed Skill now uses Dexterity as its primary Attribute
- Increased the size and color of the Track Arrow
- Casting a power on a player corpse is a valid tactic
Throne of Oblivion will also include both the original Shadowbane as well as the Rise of Chaos expansion pack. The current retail price for the packages is set at $19.99.
