In a post today to IMG's forum, Aspyr's Glenda Adams is asking Mac gamers for help tracking down bugs for Battlefield 1942. According to Adams, specific bug reports have been dificult to track down.

Here's part of the post:

From our Support department the majority of issues we are getting from gamers are related to Punkbuster updates and firewall settings, not any specific bugs. I've seen mention of some mouse lag issues, but from all we can tell the performance is the same as the PC version, and this isn't something specifically wrong with the Mac. I've also seen talk about weapon switching bugs, and need to find out more about how those occur, whether they happen on the PC as well, and if they are dependent on a specific type of mouse.

Please post any info about bugs you are still having in BF1942 Mac, since right now we don't have any major issues logged to put into a patch. Until we can confirm Mac specific bugs that we can reproduce we won't have a patch in production.
