Indie Games Conference Registration Open 7:38 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Registration has opened for Indie Games Con. As the name suggests, this upcoming event is a convention intended to bring independent game developers from all over the world under one roof. The con currently includes the staff from GarageGames as well as a keynote by Garr Godfrey, CEO of Gamehouse. Indie Games Con (IGC) is a summit meeting of like-minded developers who share a common interest in collaboration and community building. More than just a seminar, IGC is an unprecedented opportunity to meet other Indie developers, professional guest developers and hardware manufactures. IGC strikes a unique balance between informative sessions, developer networking, product showcasing, awards and of course plenty of fun. Other con highlights will include various panels, a show-off center for those looking for some publicity, and IGC Player's Choice Awards. IGC is currently scheduled to take place Oct 8-10th, in Eugene, Oregon. More information can be found at the official site.
