IMG got the scoop this afternoon from MacSoft that the company has plans to release a demo version of Halo: Combat Evolved within a week. This will finally give those who haven't yet tried out the popular first-person shooter a chance to see how it runs on their hardware.

Community manager Steven Charbonneau told IMG, "we anticipate releasing the Halo demo for Mac in about a week."

You can be sure the demo will be available on our sister-site Macgamefiles at the time of launch, though IMG Pro users also have the "Hot Downloads" option to grab it even faster. Stay tuned to IMG for the latest.
