Aspyr Media sends word this morning their much anticipated WWII first-person shooter, Battlefield 1942: Deluxe Edition is already in beta testing. This is great news for fans of the upcoming strategic online FPS, who can expect to see it released as early as next month.
The Texas-based Mac game publisher has also updated their project status page, revealing the state of development of some of their other titles. The latest changes let us know that the space based sim game Space Colony and the action filled first person shooter Delta Force: Black Hawk Down have both reached Final Candidate, meaning they should be ready to ship soon if approvals goes smoothly.
The long awaited expansion to SimCity 4, named Rush Hour has reached first playable and is also targeted for a release in June. The last update is that the recently announced space strategy game Homeworld 2 has reached alpha. Homeworld 2 is planned to ship in August if all things goes as planned.
