Freeverse Mother's Day Sale 8:03 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
In the U.S., Mother's Day is just around the corner. Being the nice folks that they are, the Freeverse crew are offering what they have dubbed their "Mother's Day Guilt-Shelter Sale." Several games have been discounted by $5, including 3D Spades Deluxe, 3D Bridge Deluxe, and X-Words Deluxe. "Let's face it, a lot of us spend a lot of times playing computer games and getting mother-induced guilt for being recluses," said Dan Dickinson, Freeverse CTO. "What better way to bridge this parent-child digital divide with your Mom than by playing a network game? Our quick market research shows that most mothers don't enjoy World War 2 first person shooters, but many enjoy a good game of cards or crosswords." While the sale does provide the opportunity to get that perfect gift for one's mother, we suspect Freeverse wouldn't mind if buyers were to throw in a little something for themselves as well. Those looking to place an order can do so at Freeverse's online store.
