7:51 AM | Johan HansÚn | Comment on this story
Aspyr Media has released a patch for their recently released demo of Command & Conquer: Generals, the 3D real-time strategy game ported to Mac by i5works. The patch addresses the crash that Radeon 9000 users experienced as well as a scrolling issue on dual monitor setups. It also improves the speed of movie playbacks.
In addition of this, Glenda Adams, Director of Mac and PC Development at
Aspyr, posted an update in our forum, saying that a patch for the full game is in testing and is expected to be released later today or tomorrow.
To download the demo patch, follow the link provided below. We will post an update as soon as the patch for the full game is released, so stay tuned to our news page for the latest info. As mentioned in yesterday's news, the game is also now available from the IMG store.
Update: Aspyr has released a 1.0.1 patch for the retail version of Command & Conquer. Head over to MGF to download the patch.
