Primate Studios, a new European-based studio, announced that it is developing their new game, Furballz, for the Mac and PC. The game is described as an action/adventure oriented run and jump game with hamsters. Here's more from the official press release:

You are Zig, commander of a deep space NASA exploration that goes horribly wrong when diabolical enemies headed by villainous lab rats sabotage your ship and put a twist to your mission it is up to you to bring your crew home.

Furballz gives you the ball and literally lets you run with it. Play through an incredible number of stages in a multitude of environments. Travel anywhere from the nebula, junkyard, jungle and alpine ski resort in search for the way back home. Battle huge bosses to acquire coordinates and other valuable items to complete your quest.

If driving is more of your scene hop behind the steering wheel and take control of powerful racers to reach your goal. Or compete against your friends in fierce multiplayer games such as: Grand Prix Racing, Seed Greed, Capture the Token and Tag Battle.
