In what's quickly becoming a weekly tradition, British publishing powerhouse Feral Interactive has updated their website with a slew of new content and updates.
First off, Feral is hosting a new mini-site for their upcoming intellectual title Chessmaster 9000. Featuring a new 3D graphics engine and multiplayer abilities, the game boasts a slew of new features for beginning and experienced chess players. While beginners will appreciate features like the game's Blunder Alert and the ability to study the best opening moves available to players, old chess pros will enjoy the ability to learn from more than 800 classic games, as well as being able to test their playing skills with a new Endgame Quiz, from five-time US Chess Champion Larry Evans. The game, which is early in development, is expected to be released by the end of the summer.
Feral's Worms 3D site features two new desktops, and an exclusive find from the Worms archives - rare footage of a 1973 experiment which documents a worm's first attempt at handling a chain gun. The new title, which brings the popular Worms franchise to a 3D environment, is expected to hit store shelves in the second quarter of this year.
And finally, Feral has posted new demos for Warrior Kings, Ghost Master, Total Immersion Racing, and Rayman 3. The new demos, which feature the games' latest patches and updates, all show improved performance over their previous versions. The Total Immersion Racing and Rayman 3 demos also include Feral's new, propietary Input Calibrator utility. Gamers interested in taking any of these games out for a whirl should head over to IMG's sister site MacGameFiles, where the updated demos will be posted shortly.
