Dark Horizons: Lore Nears Completion

GarageGames today announced that Dark Horizons: Lore, their futuristic first-person mech game is nearing the final stages of beta testing. Created by independent game developers Max Gaming Technologies, Dark Horizons: Lore puts you in command of the 22nd century’s Mechanized Assault Vehicle, or MAV, which are equiped with the latest plasma rifles, cannons and missiles.

"As independent game publishers and developers we're passionate about making games that exceed our fans expectations," comments Jay Moore, GarageGames Evangelist. "Dark Horizons Lore is a persistent universe, and though not a Traditional MMO, the gamespace will grow as the player and factions wars warrant. We're going to offer the initial release of the game to players at an early adopter price of $24.95. From this release we will work with our players to bring new features into the mix. We have several additions planned for the near future including, news MAVs, new weapons, more sectors maps, additional game-type options and will continue to update until we reach our 'Gold' release."According to the press release, Max Gaming is committed to building the game over time and will release new maps every few weeks for the first couple of months, to coincide with the growing player base, along with evolving the persistent storyline, through the action of the players.
