Dark Horizons: Lore Q&A

GameSpy has posted a Q&A with Adrinan Wright, CEO of Max Gaming. While the company is new on the block, Dark Horizons: Lore, their current project, has many mech combat fans salivating for the full release.
Based in a dark future, Lore throws out the traditional mode of slow-moving humanoid mechs in favor of smaller, speedier models:
Generally when you think of Mecha you think of gigantic humanoid robots with a pilot at the controls. Mechanized Assault Vehicles are a little different in that they are remote piloted as well as smaller and usually quicker. Our goal here was to make a very fast-paced mecha style of game and in the end bring a balance between FPS play and a mecha sim.Some of Wrights other observations regarding the game involve the formation of leagues, which he hopes will become tight-knit communities, and the ability to play a persistent character that can be used in multiple battles for the purposes of role playing.
