The winners of the uDevGame 2003 Mac game development contest were announced last night in an awards ceremony broadcast live on The Gamesome Mac, the Mac gaming radio program.

Carlos Camacho, editor-in-chief of iDevGames and organizer of the annual contest honoring independent, original Mac game development, joined Gamesome Mac hosts Sean Smith and Omaha Sternberg in announcing the winners and runners-up:

Forty-three developers entered uDevGame 2003, competing for US $27,000 in prizes. Contestants had only three months to develop their games, and all entries had to weigh in under ten MB when compressed.

Games, source code, and further credits for all entries will be available from iDevGames.com, along with developer post-mortem reports from the winners.
