Today IMG has reviewed Hearts of Iron, the new strategy title from Virtual Programming and MacPlay. The game mixes real-time and turn-based strategy into a World War II setting that should please many fans of the genre.
Here's a clip from the article:
You also need to manage resources: food for your country’s citizens, rubber, oil and steel for production, supply lines for your troops. Need to ship rubber from South America? Make sure to surround your transport ships with lots of protection -- your enemies may have a tendency to torpedo your boats. Also be prepared to direct technological research and make sure it matches your strategy. No point making bigger boats if you never plan on using them. And you can aim for a country-stopping atom bomb, but you’d better be able to survive for several years while your top scientists develop it.For more on Hearts of Iron, be sure to read through the whole review. The game is available now from the IMG store as well if you're interested.
