Pangea Working On Nanosaur 2 11:14 AM | Tuncer Deniz | Comment on this story
In an impromptu interview, Pangea's Brian Greenstone let IMG know that his latest project will be a sequel of the incredibly popular dinosaur fighting game, Nanosaur. Nanosaur 2 will be coming to a Mac near you, nearly five years after the release of the original game. The game is currently scheduled to be released in early 2004. Greenstone promises that Nanosaur 2 will be "much larger than Nanosaur 1. This game will have both an action-adventure mode, and 2-player battle modes. The game is basically going to be a flying game where you're a pteradactyl Nanosaur with lots of awesome weaponry." Greenstone also said that this will be Pangea first game to be done as a Mach-o application and not an old CFM application. "What that basically means is that it is truly a Mac OS X application and it makes use of certain OS X technologies which were difficult to use from CFM. The game will require 10.2.6 or later." Pangea began development on Nanosaur 2 roughly two months ago. The company plans on releasing a downloadable version and a boxed CD version though no pricing has been set yet. As more details emerge, we'll be sure to keep you informed.
