Dungeon Siege Nears GM

Action role-playing game fans have been long awaiting the Mac version of Dungeon Siege from Destineer/MacSoft. This 3D RPG won much acclaim for its combination of impressive graphics, fast-paced gameplay, and even options like multiplayer cooperative play. IMG recently chatted with Destineer's head-man Peter Tamte to get a quick update on how this large port, being done by the capable hands of Westlake Interactive, is progresing. Here's what he had to say: Westlake is putting the final touches on the Gold Master candidate. We expect the game to be available in April. This is great news for those looking forward to Dungeon Siege. Once a game is officially Gold Master, it must just go through the duplication/production rounds before it hits store shelves.
