Freeverse Posts Updated Versions of Board Games

Freeverse Software, publisher of many quality shareware titles, recently released updates for their line of freely downloadable board games. The board games include such classics as Chess, Tic Tac Toe, Reversi, Draughts (checkers), along with 4 in a Row, 7th Fleet, Go, and Mancala. The games have been updated to work with GameSmith 3.3, along with making a number of small bug fixes.

The games, which are offered as freeware, offer online play and ranking via the recently released GameSmith 3.3 multiplayer network libraries. Freeverse Board Games are the first to feature Freeverse's new Emotidolls technology, which allows users to express emotions across the network online via aquafied on-screen dolls. The new features introduced in GameSmith 3.3 include LAN play (Zero-Config), chat coloring, more powerful preference settings, AFK feature, many community-demanded features and numerous bug fixes.
