Late yesterday, Scott Kevill updated his popular online gaming service, GameRanger to version 3.1.2. The latest update includes automatic game detection under Mac OS X as well as a number of other fixes and updates. Here's a complete list of what's included in 3.1.2: Game detection is now automatic under Mac OS X. "Scan for Games" removed Validates expired e-mail addresses so users will update them Chat sounds are now muted while chat view is collapsed Tweaked some font heights in Mac OS 9 Dock is now restarted to eliminate duplicate GR icons during auto-update Fixed some Extra Options for hosting with SiN and Wages of SiN Fixed Team FFA for Jedi Knight II Fixed Quake 3 joining GameRanger games on Mac OS 9 Fixed problems with FutureCop and Civ II Gold To get the latest GameRanger update, simply log on to the service and GameRanger will automatically download and install the latest update.
