Crackintosh.de Interviews Glenda Adams 6:00 AM | Jean-Luc Dinsdale | Comment on this story
Olaf Kasper of German Mac gaming site Crackintosh.de has recently posted an in-depth interview with Glenda Adams of famed Macintosh game porting house Westlake Interactive. In the interview, Glenda answers a whole host of questions regarding her past, her company, the current state of the Mac gaming scene, as well as her reaction to the surprising news that the port of Epic's Unreal Tournament 2003 will be handled in-house: Glenda Adams: We were surprised when Epic announced they were doing it themselves. I think we were very well suited to do a quick and polished port of the game, but they decided it might work better to do it with the in-house Linux programmer. We would have loved to do UT2k3, but it’s certainly Epic’s right to do it themselves. I hope it does come out on time and works well, since it will mean a lot of UT2k3 based games could be ported to the Mac in the future. The interview has been posted in both English and German, and can be accessed through the links below. If you're interested in reading further in-depth interviews with Glenda, be sure to check out IMG's "One-on-One With Glenda Adams" series.
