Coldstone's Trinity Open Sourced 6:00 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Ambrosia Software has issued a recent press release that announces the public release of the source code to Trinity, a plugin for their RPG Pillars of Garendall that adds a wealth of new content, including quests and specialties. Both PoG and the Trinity plugin were created using the Coldstone engine, and Ambrosia hopes to make the power of Coldstone more evident by displaying the inner workings of Trinity. Andrew Welch, President of Ambrosia, affirms this reasoning: By making the source code to Trinity available, we're letting game authors peek into how Coldstone can be used to create first-class commercial products that can be deployed simultaneously on Mac and Windows. The source code is free to any who wish to look at it, and can be accessed at Ambrosia's main site.
