MacGameFiles has posted a link to the latest update to Scott Kevill's popular Mac-only environment to organize and play multiplayer games online, GameRanger. This marks the sixth 'preview' version of the application, which now runs natively under either OS X or earlier Classic systems. Preview 6 makes a number of changes over the earlier apps, and a listing of the fixes follows:

Joining a server list game for a game you don't have now shows an alert

Widened Host column in some cases

Arrow keys now auto-scroll the icon views (as well as changing the selection)

Added a pop up menu to explicitly set the voice input source

Fixed a couple of problems with the Find Players window

Fixed game user list not retrieving new user icons

Fixed duplicating of servers when refreshing them

Fixed Kick User button in game room window

Fixed ping/score columns in server info window

Fixed occasionally random sorting of game user list
