Shadowbane to be Featured at MWNY 8:02 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Gamers lucky enough to be attending the upcoming Macworld Expo New York should be pleased to hear that Shadowbane, the MMORPG currently in development for both Mac and PC, will be a prominently featured title at the event. The SB crew plans on having dual G4s paired with Cinema displays running the current build in the Macintosh Gaming Arena. Here's a clip from the press release with more info on the topic: Shadowbane's Community Manager Chris "Vosx" Mancil will be on hand answering questions about the game, conducting demos, and showing off the new graphical upgrades to the Arcane 3D Engine. Both demo machines will be connected live to the Closed Beta test world. Several Closed Beta Testers from Shadowbane will also be in attendance. For those unfamiliar with the title, Shadowbane is a guild-based MMORPG with the ambitious plan of centering its design philosophies around player vs. player combat, with city building and destroying taking center stage. More information can be found at the official Shadowbane site. For all Mac gamers who were wondering if this title was really going to make it to the Mac, here's your chance to see it running on Mac hardware in person.
