Those heading out to the Macworld New York expo next week will surely notice the absense of long-time gaming company MacSoft from the show floor. According to a quick PR release passed on by Al Schilling, the reasoning is simply that they didn't have enough games to justify the expense when the commitment needed to be made. Here's the full scoop:
When MacWorld New York commitments were due Macsoft did not have the breadth of titles to make it feasible to attend. Since then MacSoft has added a key title to its lineup with the much anticipated announcement of Neverwinter Nights and, is working toward the fall release of Master of Orion. MacSoft does plan on attending MacWorld in San Francisco in January 2003.The company is not the only big name to pass on the show, as others like Adobe and Macromedia will also not have a booth next week. We will greatly miss the MacSoft folks at the show and look forward to their return next January in San Francisco.
