BongoBoogie Announced for Mac 6:00 AM | Andy Largent | Comment on this story
Phelios contacted IMG recently to announce a new game under development called, BongoBoogie. The 2D remake of the classic Arkanoid will use OpenGL and looks to feature primates as prominant characters. Although no web site is yet available, there is a splash page up to show the quality of the graphics work, as well as a short description: A dazzling game with beautiful graphics and music, featuring monkeys that have gone... bananas! More than 200 fun levels to entertain you for hours. According to Phelios' Patrice Krysztofiak, they are planning for an August release and have a great majority of the art completed. Keep an eye on the Phelios page for more information soon.
