pop-pop Goes Gold Master 6:00 AM | Andy Largent | Comment on this story
Ambrosia Software has announced their long awaited arcade game pop-pop is now gold master. The Arkanoid/Anime title is set for a release at Macworld New York on July 17. The game's features include fast-paced action, OS X compatibility, and internet play with support for GameRanger. In what will likely be the last progress log update, project lead PopWrangler lets us know what the next few weeks will cover: But really the pop work isn't over yet. I have to design a banner for the show booth. I have to design pop-pop trading cards (which you can collect at the show). I have to design a t-shirt or two... Fortunately doing the art is fun. Drawings don't crash. No compiler complains if your lines don't connect. The end result is immediately appreciable by your non-techie friends and family. And I get a t-shirt. T-Shirts rock. Be on the lookout for a demo of pop-pop on the 17th and read through IMG's preview of the game if you haven't yet done so.
