Apple has a detailed look at Max Payne at their website today. It runs through the high points of the game, the dramatic story and setting, bullet time, photorealistic graphics, and includes interviews with the developers of the game. Apple has gone to great lengths to make the Mac a good platform for games. I have every reason to believe that in the future we will see the best games be published on the Mac and they will be great." Links to a second page detailing the assorted weaponry of Max Payne, cheat codes, and system requirements can be found at the bottom of the article. So after a year of waiting Max Payne will soon be doing his infamous, dual pistol blazing bullet timed death dive on to the Macintosh. As the slogan on Apple's website says "He's a rock-solid hero, for a rock-solid OS." Max Payne is available for pre-order from the IMG Store.
