Black & White PC Patch Coming Soon 7:12 AM | Daniel Meissner | Comment on this story
On July 13th Lionhead Studios is releasing a Multiplayer/Clan patch for their sleeper hit, Black & White. The patch will allow players to organize themselves into clan structures and earn credits as a group, as well as individuals. The patch also allows several new ways to achieve victory, as well as the ability to set a time limit. Lionhead is also updating its web pages so that clans may register starting the 1st of July. The clan patch is said to make the multiplayer aspect of the game faster and more furious. thanks to the new victory conditions and time limit, as described at bwgame.com The introduction of new winning conditions in this Patch make the games more riotous and makes victory sweeter. The network programmers along with Lionhead's test department came up with and tested a number of different winning conditions. These can be selected by players prior to a game, combined in whatever way they choose and a time limit set for any game. There's no word yet on whether this patch will be made available for the Mac. In early May, Feral Interactive released the 1.1.5 patch for the Mac that included the first multiplayer beta of Black & White. We'll be sure to keep you posted on any future developments.
