bangsplat has released a new utility for The Sims: Hot Date expansion pack called, iff Taxi. iff Taxi allows user created items to be purchased in Hot Date's "Downtown" area.

Here's a clip from bangsplat's web site:

Whatís a download addict to do? The downtown buy mode of the Hot Date expansion pack for The Sims ignores your collection of third-party objects. Now you can enable your favorite user-made items for downtown use on your Mac with iff Taxi, and, by purchasing iff Taxi, you will unlock its batch conversion capability. Allowing a huge collection of Downtown-enabled objects in several minutes instead of several hours.

using iff Taxi
Drag-and-drop object IFF files into iff Taxiís file window. Select one or more buy mode categories via the check boxes and click the convert button. All those items are then categorized to your selection.

Want to create copies instead of changing your original files? You donít have to do it beforehand. iff Taxiís Preferences are set to make copies as a default. Other preferences allow you to add a suffix to the converted fileís name and choose the folder in which you would like your new files saved.

iff Taxi requires a PowerPC Macintosh running OS X or 9 (with CarbonLib 1.1 or higher).

Hot Date fans will want to check out this utility. Stay tuned for IMG's review of The Sims: Hot Date.
