Apple Features Hulabee Entertainment

Apple has recently published an article on the software company Hulabee Entertainment. Hulabee Entertainment is the current creative outlet of Ron Gilbert and Shelley Day, who formerly made their names by founding the ever popular children's software company Humongous Entertainment. For those parents among us who are looking for quality children’s software, this feature is a must read. The article effectively focusses on two new projects which they have produced in co-operation with Disney. Here is an excerpt from the article:
The characters are the stars of Ollo in the Sunny Valley Fair and Moop and Dreadly: The Treasure on Bing Bong Island, the first two titles in a deal with Disney under the Plaid Banana Entertainment logo. Both run in either Mac OS X or Mac OS 9. Day says that the “goal is to build a line of products around these characters. Through our partnership with Disney, we hope to see these characters move into other media, such as books and television.”One thing which the article neglects to mention, which may be also of interest to the types of people for whom this article is relevant, is Hulabee’s other main product so far, www.SportSquad.com, a site dedicated to providing sports facts, figures, and other cool info in a format that kids can understand and enjoy. To see the article, the Hulabee Website, or SportSquad.com (under construction at the moment sadly), please use the links below.
