WWII Online: Better Audio & Teaser Video

The folks at PlayNet have been hard at work in order to make the audio in their massively-multiplayer online game, World War II Online, even more immersive.
The following was recently posted by the game's "Head Rat" at the WWII Forums:
"We’ve fixed a few sound issues in 1.6, as I'm sure most folks have noticed. What you haven't seen yet is what missed 1.6. I’ve been playing in the main server on a test version with new sound code.Also, be sure and read the entire post for a link to a lovely WWII Online teaser video. An IMG preview of the Mac version of World War II Online will be available soon.

Fixes include better stereo, better panning, more correct volume for distance, doppler effects that function correctly (doppler shift on passing objects, sound delay on distant sounds) and a few CTD fixes, loop fixes etc.
So get your stereo set up, put on your headphones if ya got em and read on..."
