ATI 8500 Drivers Help Radeon 7000 Owners

Accelerate Your Macintosh is reporting that some owners of ATI's Radeon 7000 who have been having problems with dual-monitor support under OS9 using the old 7000 drivers, have found that the Radeon 8500 1.0 drivers eliminate that problem. Here's what one happy Radeon 7000 user had to say: Just installed the new Radeon 8500 Installer over the 7000 one and guess what? I now have the two VGA outputs on the 7000 working with a Sony 19" and an Applevision 750AV! I seriously hope this will help all 7000 owners! Thanks for your great useful website. Patrick S.
