NPRQuake Beta 2 for Mac

The folks at GamingGroove pointed us to a very interesting modification to the original Quake source code called NPRQuake. The NPR stands for Non-Photorealistic Rendering, and much like a Photoshop filter, the mod takes the original 3D game and makes it appear to be drawn by an artist. If you've ever wanted to be in a demented A-Ha music video, this could be your chance. A Mac client of NPRQuake was recently released, and though it is still in an early beta form, it does work as promised.
Three modes are available currently. The first is sketchy NPR, which seems to be the most playable mode. The other two simulate playing in a blueprint or brushstroke environment. It is also possible to tweak the settings for the three NPR modes.
If you want to give NPRQuake a try, be sure to go through the ReadMe carefully for instructions on getting it up and running. You'll need the data files from your original Quake installation.
