The latest article on Apple's Games web site takes a look at the many puzzle and trivia games now available for the Mac platform. From commercial licenses like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Jeopardy! to completely original titles such as Burning Monkey Puzzle Lab and Candy Cruncher, the Mac is well covered in this genre.
Here's a clip from the piece by Chris McVeigh with a good word of advice for any gamer:
Puzzles and trivia tend to have minimal system requirements. The titles do not require graphics acceleration and therefore run exceptionally well on any recent iMac or iBook. Please inspect the box of any title that appeals to you to ensure that it will run on your Macintosh. New titles such as Jeopardy 2nd Edition, Wheel of Fortune 2nd Edition, and Enigma fully support Mac OS X. And just remember, you'll need two extra chairs for head-to-head competition!Gamers looking for something new to play will likely find a worthy title listed here, with many available for both Mac OS 9 and X. Give both pages a close read if you're interested.
